The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) will conduct competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Technician (T-1) under Direct Recruitment in Pay Level-3 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix at ICAR Research Institutes in accordance with the rules issued by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. The IARI under the Administrative control of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, DARE, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi will hold online computer-based test (CBT).Important Dates (tentative) IARI Technicians Recruitment 2021

Matriculation pass from a recognized Board. Candidate must specifically indicate the percentage of marks obtained (calculated to the nearest two decimals) in the relevant column of the application form.
Age Limits for Indian Agricultural Research Institute Technicians Recruitment 2021:
- a. Minimum age limit is 18 years as on 10 January 2022 i.e. closing date of online application
- b. Maximum age limit is 30 years as on 10 January 2022 i.e., closing date of online application.
The
maximum age limit for Serving regular employees of ICAR is 58 years as on 10 January 2022.
c. The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable: -
(i) Up to a maximum of five (05) years if a candidate belongs to SC or ST in respect of posts
reserved for them.
(ii) Up to a maximum of three (03) years in respect of candidates belonging to Other Backward
Classes who are eligible to avail reservation in respect of posts reserved for them

Syllabus and Examination Pattern IARI Technicians Recruitment 2021
The scheme and syllabus of the examination are given in the rules of the examination for the respective posts vide Annexure III. The Question Paper will be set in English & Hindi only. In case of any difference/discrepancy/dispute in the questions between English and Hindi, the content of English version shall prevail.Computer Based Test/Examination shall consist of Objective Type 100 Questions with 4 multiple choice answers out of which candidate has to choose one correct answer only. Each question carries one mark. For each wrong answer ¼ (0.25) mark shall be deducted.
Qualifying marks in written test/CBT is prescribed as 40% for UR, 30% for SC/OBC-NCL/EWS and 25% for ST.
Examination will be of 100 marks consisting of Objective Type – Multiple Choice Questions and the duration will be of one and half hours. There will be four subjects carrying 25 marks for each of the following subjects as per the following scheme: -

(a) The question papers will be prepared bilingually, in English & Hindi for Sections 1, 2, 3 & 4.
(b) The question paper will be common for all the functional groups in which the recruitment is proposed to be made.
(c) There will be no interview for the posts of Technician (T-1).
(d) The Answer key will be placed on the IARI website after the written examination. Any representation regarding answer key received within 05 days of uploading of the answer key will be scrutinized and the decision of the IARI/Council in this regard will be final.

Candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions have to apply On-line on ICAR-IARI website i.e. https://www.iari.res.in/ . Candidates are advised to read the following instructions carefully before applying on-line and also all the instructions given on main page of on-line application portal. Candidates should take utmost care to furnish the correct details while filling in on-line application. In case of multiple registrations for the same post, only the last submitted application will be considered. Any mistake committed by the candidate shall be his/her sole responsibility.
Application through any other mode will not be accepted. No physical documents are required to be sent to ICAR-IARI by post in connection with the submitted application.
