India Coast Guard Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Online applications are invited from MALE INDIAN CITIZENS possessing educational qualifications and age as prescribed below, for recruitment to the post of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch) and Yantrik in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union.India Coast Guard Recruitment Age Limit
- Indian Coast Guard has Age Limig from 18-22 Years
- For Navik (GD) and Yantrik: 01st May 2001 to 31st April 2005
- For Navik (DB): 01st May 2001 to 31st April 2005
- (Upper Age Relaxation Of 5 Years For SC/ST And 3 Years For OBC Candidates)
India Coast Guard Recruitment Educational Qualification
- Navik (General Duty): - 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
- Navik (Domestic Branch):- 10th Class passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
- Yantrik:- 10th class passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics and Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2022 Selection Process
The Selection process involves 4 stages, we will discuss the step by step selection process. The selection of recruits is based on an all India order of merit on their performance in Stage-I, II, III & IV ) and the number of vacancies available for the post. Clearing of Stage-I, II, III, IV and satisfactory performance in training is compulsory for recruitment in ICG.Stage1
Stage one includes written examination, there are different sections in the written exam for different posts It is compulsory to pass each section separately. Stage 2
The students who clear CBT of stage 1 will be called for stage 2 depending on the vacancies and ratio decided by ICG, the stage 2 will take 1 or 2 days and candidates will be tested for physical fitness followed by Document verification and Initial medical examination.The Physical Fitness Test includes Running 1.6 km ,20 Squat ups and 10 push-ups, all the tree tasks are to be done in continuation.
Stage 3
After completion of stage 1 and 2 an all India level merit list will be prepared and the selected candidates will be called for Stage 3. The stage 3 will last for 2 to 3 days and will include following tasksDocument VerificationFinal medicals at INS Chilka

The stage 4 is the final stage of recruitment process, candidates making it in stage 3 will be provisionally shortlisted for training at INS Chilka given that they submit all their documents for verification.How to Apply for India Coast Guard Recruitment
Here are certain things to keep in mind while applying for the post of Navik and Yantrik at Indian Coast Guard 01/2023.
- The Application will be filled online at the official ICG website.
- The applications will be accepted from from 08 Sep 22 (1100 hrs) to 22 Sep 22 (1730 hrs).
- First the candidate need to register using mobile number and E-mail ID.
- The validity of Email and Mobile No. should be atleast upto 31 August 2023.
- Candidates should abide by the guidelines issued bye https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in/faq.html .
- Candidates should apply for only one post in one cycle otherwise the candidature might get rejected.
- Candidates should upload all the credentials including cast certificate, educational certificates etc, as required for the post applied.
- Additional Documents are to be uploaded for stage 2 on clearing stage 1.
