SBI CBO Recruitment 2023 Application Fee
The online application fee for SBI CBO 2023 exam fee has already been released. A total of Rs. 750/- is to be paid by candidates belonging to General Category as the application fee for SBI Circle Based Officer 2023 exam. The same amount is narrowed down to Rs. 0/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category.

Points to know before applying online
- The candidate will have to apply for a vacancy in one State only. A candidate applying for a vacancy in one State will not be eligible to apply for a vacancy of any other State.
- Candidature of the applicant will be considered only against the vacancies in the State for which he/ she has applied/ opted. Merit list will be drawn State wise, category-wise.
- Selected candidates will be posted in the Circle of that State against whose vacancy they are selected.
- The selected candidates will not be entitled to inner-circle transfer up to his/ her promotion to SMGS-IV Grade OR 12 years of service, whichever is later.
SBI CBO Notification 2023 Eligibility -Educational Qualification
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University in India or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD).
- Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant would also be eligible.
Note:
The date of passing eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University/ Institute.
In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University/ Institute, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University/ Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted
on the website will be taken as the date of passing.
SBI Credit Based Officers Recruitment Age Limit
SBI CBO Age Limit (as on 31.10.2023)
- Not below 21 years and Not above 30 years as on 31.10.2023. The candidates must have been born not later than 31.10.2002 and not earlier than 01.11.1993 (both days inclusive).

SBI CBO Notification Experience
Bad news for all fresh graduates because SBI is demanding a minimum of 2 years’ experience (as on 31.10.2023) as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank / any Regional Rural Bank.

Minimum 2 years’ experience (Post Essential Academic Qualification Experience) as on 31.10.2023 as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank as listed in Second Schedule of Reserve Bank of India
SBI CBO Recruitment 2023 Selection Process
The selection process of SBI CBO will be based on Online Computer Based Test and Interviews. However, Bank reserves the right to conduct a written examination. The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, an adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted and called for interview. The decision of the bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Merit List: The merit list for selection of SBI Circle Based Officer 2023 exam will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in the interview only.
Merit list will be drawn State wise, category-wise. In case more than one candidate scores the cut-off marks (common marks at the cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in merit.
The selection process consists of Online Test, Screening and Interview.
(a). Online Test: Online test will consist of Objective Tests for 120 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.
(i) Objective Test:
The duration of objective test is 2 hours and it consists of 4 Sections of total 120 marks. There will be separate timing for every section.

Penalty for Wrong Answers:
There will be no penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests. If a question is left blank, i.e. if no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question too.
SBI CBO Salary 2023
As per the official SBI CBO Notification 2023, the initial salary of a “Circle Based Officers” (CBOs) will be in the scale of JMGS-I (36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2- 49910-1990/7-63840), at the start of the scale i.e. Rs. 36,000/- plus one increment for each completed year of service rendered in officer cadre in the Scheduled Commercial Bank and Regional Rural Bank.
The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
