Central Bank Recruitment 2024 : The Central Bank of India commenced the online application process for 484 posts of Safai Karmachari Cum Sub-Staff And/ Or Sub-Staff posts today, December 20. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 484 vacancies for sanitation workers. The preliminary test will be held in January, while the Main exam is scheduled for February.

Central Bank Recruitment 2024 Eligibility - Qualification for Safai Karmachari Sub Staff
Nationality/Citizenship:
An applicant must either be-
i. a citizen of India, or
ii. a subject of Nepal, or
iii. a subject of Bhutan, or
iv. a Tibetan refugee, who migrated to India before 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India,
CUT OFF DATE: The tentative cut-off Date for the purpose of eligibility criteria for the process shall be 31.03.2023. However the final cut-off date shall be intimated on Bank‘s website.
Educational Qualification:

Selection Process for CBI Safai Karmachari cum Sub Staff Recruitment
Selection will be through Online examination (conducted by IBPS) and Local language test (by Bank) strictly on merit, subject to Reservation policy and guidelines issued by the Government of India in this regard.
The total marks allotted for Online Examination are 70 and Local language test are 30.
A candidate should qualify in the Online Examination as well as local language test and be sufficiently high in the merit to be considered for subsequent provisional selection process.
In the objective tests, incorrect answers will be marked with a penalty. To determine the corrected score, a penalty equal to one-fourth, or 0.25, of the marks allocated to each question for which the candidate provided an incorrect response will be subtracted.

Penalty for Wrong Answers (Online Examination)
There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question to which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
