6. A password/OTP and an OTR ID will be sent over to your registered e-mail ID/mobile number.
7. Now, click on ‘Login’ button and login page will be displayed.
8. Candidates can now log in through either of option e-mail ID, mobile number or OTR ID.
9. Enter your e-mail ID/mobile number/OTR ID along with password/OTP.
10. Fill out the verification code and then click on ‘login’ tab.
11. The application form will be displayed on screen, complete this form by entering details in relevant fields and upload documents as specified.
12. Pay the application fee for AC posts as required and then proceed further.

Instructions for Uploading Photograph
While uploading necessary documents in UPSC CAPF Application Form 2024, candidates are required to upload their passport-sized photograph. UPSC CAPF Application Fees 2024
Paying application fees while filling out UPSC CAPF Application Form 2024 is mandatory, authorities will not consider any application received without category-specific application fees for AC posts. Female candidates and those who belong to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes are exempted from paying this fee i.e. they do not have to pay any amount during UPSC CAPF Apply Online 2024 process. The total number of vacancies is 506, but this number may change. Government policy will be followed for reservation, including earmarking 10% of vacancies for ex-servicemen. NOTE-I: No credit will be given for answers written in a medium other than the one allowed in the Paper. No credit will be given for the Essay Component if the candidate indicates a medium on the Attendance List and on the Answer Book other than the one in which he/she has written the Essay.
NOTE-II: There will be minimum qualifying marks separately in each Paper as may be fixed by the Commission at their discretion. Paper-I will be evaluated first and evaluation of Paper-II will be done only of those candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I.

UPSC CAPF AC Interview
Candidates who pass the Medical Standards Tests will proceed to the Interview/Personality Test conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). If a candidate is initially declared medically unfit but is allowed to appeal and appear before a “Review Medical Board,” they will also be called for the Interview/Personality Test provisionally.The Interview/Personality Test will carry 150 marks. Candidates who are shortlisted for the Interview/Personality Test, including those provisionally shortlisted, will receive a Detailed Application Form (DAF). In the DAF, candidates will need to indicate their preference for the Forces among other required details.
