Step 1: Visit the official website which is www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Step 2: On the home page of the official website, look for the “online application” tab.

Step 3: Read the instructions carefully and fill the application form.

Step 4: Enter your basic details and Upload Your Photo, Sign, ID Proof and Other Documents. Don’t forget to recheck the details.

Indian Army TES 52 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Interested Candidates must check the Eligibility Criteria before applying for the Indian Army TES 52 recruitment. Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army TES 52 Recruitment 2024 is based on the age limit, nationality and educational qualification. Candidate must fulfil the eligibility requirements mentioned below before applying.

Nationality

A candidate must be an unmarried male and must either be:

(i) A citizen of India

(ii) A subject of Bhutan

(iii) A subject of Nepal

(iv) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st of January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

(v) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by Govt of India.

Certificate of eligibility will however not be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be shortlisted provisionally subject to the necessary certificate being given to him by the Govt before the declaration of result by SSB/joining training.


Indian Army TES 52 Age Limit

Candidates must meet the following age criteria for Indian Army TES 52 Recruitment 2024:
  • Minimum age limit: 16 ½ years
  • Maximum age limit: 19 ½ years
  • Candidates must have been born between 2 July 2005 and 1 July 2008, inclusive of both dates.

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation
  • OBC candidates: 3 years relaxation

Indian Army TES 52 Recruitment 2024 Physical Requirements

The Indian Army TES 52 consists of various physical requirements that needs to be fulfilled by the candidates. The physical requirements are given below:


Height: Candidates should be at least 140 cm tall.

Weight:
Regardless of age, candidates should weigh a minimum of 35.3 kgs. It’s also important to consider your weight in relation to your height, following the Army’s specified standards.

BMI (Body Mass Index): Your BMI should be below 25, which is considered to be healthy.

Waist-to-Hip Ratios: For males, the ideal waist-to-hip ratio is 0.9, and for females, it’s 0.8.

Waist Size: Men should aim for a waist size of 90 cm, while women should aim for 80 cm.


Indian Army TES 52 Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The candidates applying for the Indian army TES recruitment 2024 will have to go through the following selection process:

Shortlisting of Applications: 

The Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) will review applications and set a cutoff without providing reasons. Candidates selected for further process will receive an email indicating their assigned Selection Centre. Specific SSB (Service Selection Board) dates will be communicated to candidates after Centre allotment.

SSB Process: 

Only shortlisted candidates meeting the cutoff will undergo SSB at one of the Selection Centres: Prayagraj (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka), or Jalandhar (Punjab). Call letters for the SSB interview will be sent to candidates’ registered email IDs and via SMS. The Directorate General of Recruiting makes the final decision on Selection Centre allotment, and requests for changes are not accepted.

Selection Procedure: 

The selection process comprises two stages: Stage I and Stage II. Candidates who pass Stage I proceed to Stage II, while those who fail are sent back on the same day. The SSB interview lasts for five days, and details are available on the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Successful candidates undergo a medical examination after Stage II.

Joining Process: 

Candidates recommended by the SSB and deemed medically fit will receive a Joining Letter based on merit and available vacancies. Candidates recommended by the SSB must consent to a medical examination conducted by a board of Male/Female doctors if required.


Army TES 52 Promotion Criteria and Salary Structure

An officer in the Indian Army at the rank of Lieutenant (which is the starting rank for TES 52 recruits receives a basic pay of Rs. 56,100 per month. Additionally, officers are entitled to various allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), Military Service Pay (MSP), Field Area Allowance (FAA), and others. These allowances contribute significantly to the overall salary package, making it highly competitive and rewarding.
