Bharti Airtel Scholarship Program 2024-25 For Engineering Students
ఆర్ధికంగా వెనకబడిన విద్యార్థులకు ఉపకార వేతనాలు అందించేందుకు భారతీ ఎయిర్టెల్ ఫౌండేషన్ ఏటా రూ.100 కోట్లు వెచ్చించనుంది. 'భారతీ ఎయిర్టెల్ స్కాలర్షిప్ ప్రోగ్రాం' కింద దీన్ని 4,000 మంది విద్యార్థులకు అందించనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించింది.
ప్రముఖ విద్యా సంస్థల్లో సాంకేతిక విద్య అభ్యసిస్తున్న వారికి ఈ ప్రోత్సా హకాన్ని అందిస్తుంది.
సునీల్ మిత్తల్ ప్రారంభించిన భారతీ ఎయిర్టెల్ ఫౌండేషన్ (గతంలో భారతీ ఫౌండేషన్) ఈ ఏడాది 25వ సంవత్సరంలోకి అడుగు పెట్టింది.
ప్రతిభ ఆధారంగా విద్యార్థుల ఎంపిక ఉంటుంది.
తొలి దశలో భాగంగా ఆగస్టులో 250 మంది విద్యార్థులను ఇందుకోసం ఎంపిక చేస్తున్నట్లు పేర్కొంది.
దీన్ని 4,000 మంది విద్యార్థులకు దశల వారీగా పెంచి, ఏడా దికి రూ.100 కోట్లు అందిస్తామని ఎయిర్టెల్ తెలిపింది.
ముఖ్యంగా ఇంజినీరింగ్ చేరిన విద్యార్థినులకు ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తున్నట్లు పేర్కొంది.
దేశం లోని అగ్రగామి 50 ఎన్ఎస్ఐఆర్ఎఫ్ కాలేజీలు, ఐఐ టీల్లో చదివే వారిని ఎంచుకుంటామని వివరిం చింది.
ఫౌండేషన్ ద్వారా గత 25 ఏళ్ల కాలంలో 60 లక్షల మందికి మేలు చేకూర్చినట్లు భారతీ ఎయిర్టెల్ ఫౌండేషన్ కో-చైర్మన్ రాకేశ్ భారతీ మిత్తల్ తెలిపారు.
About Bharti Airtel Foundation
Bharti Airtel Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises, was established in the year 2000 with a vision ‘to help underprivileged children and youth of our country realize their potential.’ The Foundation works in the space of holistic quality education in rural India, with a special focus on the girl child. It also supports higher education programs in partnership with premier institutions. Since 2006, the flagship Satya Bharti School Program has been providing free quality education to thousands of underprivileged children in 164 schools in rural India across four states.At present, nearly 36,000 children are enrolled in Satya Bharti Schools, of which over 50% are girl students. Since 2013, the impact of quality education has been widened by transferring the learning and good practices of this program to more than 3.7 lakh students studying in 888 partnering government schools across 12 States/UTs through the Quality Support Program (QSP).
In addition, Bharti Airtel Foundation was invited by several education officers at district and state level to scale up some of the initiatives through QSP State Partnerships. The Foundation has been able to impact over 3 million children in a meaningful manner through its education programs since inception.

Eligibility
For the Bharti Airtel Scholarship Program 2024-25, students should meet the following eligibility criteria:- Confirmed admission or enrollment in the first year of the specified courses in fields of Electronics & Communication, Telecom, Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Data Sciences, and Emerging Technologies (AI, IoT, AR/VR, Machine Learning, Robotics) at the top 50 NIRF (Engineering) colleges.
- Must be a citizen and resident of India.
- Family annual income from all sources should not exceed INR 8.5 lakh.
- Applicants should not be recipients of any other scholarships or grants for the same purposes supported by the Bharti Airtel Foundation.
NOTE: Women students are encouraged to apply.
Benefits
- Scholarship are for the full duration of the UG courses including integrated courses for up to 5 years (subject to meeting the renewal criteria).
- Scholarship covers 100% of college fees as per the course fee structure of the respective institute.
- The hostel and mess fees shall be given to eligible students who apply for it.
- For students staying in PG/outside hostel (as the charges may vary for each student), the funds would be released as per the hostel/mess charges of the institute.
- A provision of laptop for all Bharti Scholars (responsibility for the safety/security will be with the student. No replacements will be provided).
- Bharti Scholars will be encouraged to support at least 1 student on a continuous basis, voluntarily, once they graduate & are subsequently gainfully employed.
NOTE:
- The amount for the outside stay should not exceed the hostel fees charged by the same college/institute.

- Proof of identity (Aadhaar card)
- Current year admission proof (admission letter, demand letter of fee from the institution)
- Mark sheet of class 12th
- JEE scorecard or university entrance exam scorecard (whichever applicable)
- Fee structure, including hostel and tuition fee
- Income certificate issued by a government authority/copy of income tax returns of parents
- Affidavit confirming income if parents are self-employed
- Bank account details (account number, IFSC, branch address) and bank statement of the applicant and parent
- Bank account details of the institution (account name, account number, IFSC, branch address)
- Recent passport-sized photograph
- Documents related to extracurricular activities, achievements, part-time jobs, projects, innovations, etc.
- Expense receipts/rent agreement (if staying in PG/rented accommodation), if applicable
- Statement of Purpose (SOP) from the applicant
